McCormick 2B/2Ba for up to 8 guests w Opt Parking

Disappointing. Negative: This unit/building is very overpriced for what it is, considering the condition of the building and rooms, the smell of marijuana throughout the building, what appeared to be a scary drug deal happening in the lobby, and the general feel of the facility. I wouldn’t recommend this location except for college kids looking for a place to party and crash. With regard to the beds… WOW! These were the worst beds/mattresses I have ever tried to sleep on, and I’ve stayed in many hotels and rental units. One bed had no boxspring and the mattress was sitting on the frame, which was very, very low to the floor. The other bed had broken slats, and the bed kept falling into the frame. When the couch is more comfortable, that is telling how horrible the beds were. The owners of the building and the unit listing were very clear about no parties in the units; however, many rooms on our hallway felt like party central… large groups of people in and out, loud music, in rooms and hallways, etc. Also, it took 10 days to recover my $200 security deposit.

Positive: Price and location - walking distance to mccormick place. full kitchen was also nice Negative: There was a lot of damage in the unit before we arrived - melted toilet seat, large chip in the countertop, and a few large gouges in the floor. No front desk person until 11am, after we were supposed to leave. hallways leading to the unit were dingy and sketchy. exposed rebar in the concrete ceiling was also concerning.

Positive: everything was nice and the location was good, the apartment was clean and beautiful, I would love to go back

Nice space, great location,slow checkin process Positive: The location and amount space was great. It had a nice modern feel with nice decor. The amount of light was great. I lived sitting in the family room in the morning with the light streaming in on the couch. It was close to the convention center and China town. It had a lot of supplies in the kitchen. The couch was very comfortable. The lobby had a cute sitting area. Negative: Check in was slow. Upon arrival there was no one at the security desk and no way to check in and get the pass for the parking garage. The bed was pretty uncomfortable with a thin mattress and the closet door.came unattached. The workout room was needing some equipment replaced.
