McCormick Place 420 friendly 3BR/2BA/opt parking

Avoid like the plague. Photos on booking.com misleading Positive: Avoid like the plague! Though size is good if only it were clean and well maintained. Negative: Booking.com sourced this property after an issue with another hotel cancellation. It was the only one available and perhaps for good reason. The property wasn’t fit for habitation. Had a major foul water drain blockage problem leading to back flow into sink units. Awful smell in apartment as a consequences. Furniture has dirty stains. Alternative appartment offered which had same problem so clearly an issue with poor maintenance. Checked in 11pm, left promptly in the morning despite booking 4 day stay as health and safety hazard. Property refusing to refund. Legal claim on the way against property to reclaim money paid and costs. There were no reviews for this property which should have rung alarm bells but I accepted booking.com advice. Car parking doesn’t feel safe. Not gated or secure as advertised. Will be deactivating booking.com account despite being Genius 3 member unless they refund me. Plenty of other agencies around.
