Unresolved plumbing issue and slow host response Positive: Location was good. Centeral, close to subway, train stations. Negative: There was a serious plumbing issue in the kitchen — used water came back up through the sink and overflowed onto the floor. The response from the host was quite delayed, and the cleaning afterwards was done poorly, leaving the area still messy. It caused a lot of inconvenience during our short stay.

Dirty and gross. Positive: The location was decent. Negative: The apartment is dirty. A garbage bag with garbage still in it, in the garbage can, when we arrived. Bathroom walls are filthy, light switches are filthy. Overall it just felt grimy and dirty. Whoever cleans it does not put effort into their job at all. The hallway outside the apartment had missing tiles in the floor. Overall the building and apartment give the vibe that it was all renovated as cheaply as possible. You can hear the people out in the hallway as if they are right next to you in your apartment. The hallway light shines into the apartment because the door is not installed correctly. The exterior doors of the building, which you think you need a code for, do not actually lock which feels very insecure. They did not give hardly any towels. One bedroom has two. One bedroom has one. One room had NONE. The washing machine did not work at all.
